2. What the service is
CardMerry stores your loyalty cards and shows their barcodes / QR codes for scanning at the till. The app is free.
Without an account everything works on your phone. A dobry.doctor account (optional, sign-in via auth.dobry.doctor) adds sync between devices, cards in the browser, sharing cards with family and notifications.
3. Data and security
Cards are encrypted on your device; only ciphertext we cannot read reaches our server. You are responsible for remembering your PIN and key password — without them the data cannot be decrypted. Details: Privacy policy, Data deletion.
4. Issuer cards — notice for the card issuer
A loyalty card issuer that works with CardMerry may ask to be told that its card is in CardMerry — just like with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. For such a card CardMerry sends the issuer, through our server and signed by CardMerry, the card number and the event: card added, removed or number changed.
This is part of the service and cannot be turned off for such a card. By adding it to CardMerry you acknowledge this; if you don't want the issuer to know, don't add its card (deleting the card is reported too).
We send the issuer nothing else: no account, name, card fields (e.g. PIN), balance or location. Our server does not store the card number.
5. Points and issuer data
Points, tier and other card values come from the card issuer — we are not responsible for their accuracy or availability. Points and discounts are granted by the issuer under its programme rules.
6. Trademarks
Logos, names and card designs belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the cards. This does not imply cooperation or endorsement — unless the card is marked as managed by its issuer.
7. Companies — company panel
Card issuers manage their card in the company panel (/panel) once they work with us; by uploading logos and graphics they confirm they have the right to use them.
8. Liability and changes
The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. This does not limit rights that consumer law does not allow to be excluded.
We will announce material changes to these terms in the app or on this page; you can stop using the app and delete your data at any time.
